“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased." (Luke 2: 13-14) This is a significant milestone for Washington Armenians. Our community has dreamt of building a church for many years. Today, on the eve of the New Year and Christmas, we are blessed that our dream has become a reality. We give glory to God. "For every house is built by someone but the builder of all things is God"(Hebrews 3:4) We are blessed that God chose us to be the builders of His house. We are blessed to do His willing on earth. We are blessed to have eased the future efforts of our children to build a church and bring them closer to their heritage. This is a good example for them as to what can be accomplished through faith and hard work. We have reached the finish line, and will now begin the new chapter of our community in this coming New Year of 2012. Dear Parishioners and Friends, With love and from the bottom of my heart, I’d like to congratulate you once again with the New Year and Nativity of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I wish that all your future dreams may come true, and you may stay happy and in good health. Prayerfully, Fr. Yeghia Isayan Parish Priest
